DEARBORN – Ford Motor Company topped Honda in a recent AutoPacific survey that measures the percentage of owners who would recommend their current vehicles to others. Ford posted six segment winners while Honda captured three.
The survey is based on responses from more than 25,000 consumers who purchased or leased new cars or light trucks from September to December 2008.
According to AutoPacific, the truck with the highest overall satisfaction score is the Ford F-150, recommended by 89 percent of its owners. The Ford F-Series Super Duty, Flex, Edge, Mustang and Lincoln Navigator also were first in their respective segments.
Toyota's eight segment winners led all manufacturers. General Motors and Chrysler each recorded two winners. The highest overall satisfaction by any vehicle in the survey was the Infiniti G37 at 95 percent.
