The 2010 Jeep Wrangler has a redesigned soft top which is designed to be easier to open and close. This off-road-ready SUV is offered in 2-door or 4-door Unlimited form. Trim levels include Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon; Sport replaces the X as the base version. Late-model-year additions to the Wrangler lineup include the Islander and Mountain. All are available with a folding soft top or a removable hardtop. All have a 3.8-liter V6 engine. Two-door Wranglers have 202 horsepower; Unlimiteds have 205. Manual or automatic transmission is available. The 2-door models are 4-wheel drive only. Unlimiteds come with rear drive or 4WD. Wrangler's 4WD system should not be left engaged on dry pavement but includes a low-range gear for off-roading. Maximum towing capacity is 2,000 pounds on the 2-door, 3,500 pounds on the

Unlimited. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, and front-side airbags. Optional is Chrysler's Uconnect multimedia suite, which includes a 30-gigabyte hard drive for storing digital media and picture files, a wireless cell-phone link, and a navigation system with real-time traffic updates. For severe off-road use, Wrangler can be equipped with an electronic-disconnecting front stabilizer bar, locking differentials, and specific tires. Wrangler has Jeep's Trailer-Sway Control, which activates the antiskid system if it detects a towed trailer is not following its intended path. The Islander and Mountain packages include their own unique paint colors and specific exterior and interior trim.
